Polarfab Inc.

Polarfab is a semiconductor manufacturing company. Formerly a division of Control Data Corporation, Polarfab manufactures integrated circuits for data storage and other industries. Rockmont participated as an investor in an equity recapitalization of the company to provide liquidity for the existing owners/managers and to position Polarfab for future growth. Polarfab sold its data storage chip business to Lucent Technolgoy for in excess of $100,000,000 in cash.  The management team continues to own the remainder of the company.
